In July of 2010, Danielle Loftus was in an accident. She was enjoying the waters of Lake Springfield with her sisters and cousins when the two jet skis they were passengers on, all on collided. Danielle sustained heavy injuries to her head, ribs and right shoulder/collarbone. Danielle lay in a coma with her family and friends surrounding her, praying for her recovery.
Two years after the accident, Danielle is still healing. Her parents keep a journal on Caringbridge.org. This is Danielle's mother Lynell sharing her thoughts about a new medical trial to re-gain brain function:
"...We hesitate to get our hope up too high, and quite honestly, I am still positive that Danielle’s healing will come directly from God, instantaneous and complete, but what if God is using these doctors to heal Danielle so that others can also benefit from the knowledge gained, Miracles and healing for more than one? I have always asked God for guidance for our decisions regarding Danielle’s care, as we do all that we can to keep her comfortable and healthy while we wait for His perfect timing and healing, and I think He is guiding us in this direction. So, we are moving forward and have continued conversations to get this team of doctors into our home to evaluate Danielle, supervise and administer the healing technology they feel will be for the good of our sweet baby girl. She still needs your prayers and positive energy during this painful and trying time."
Pray for Danielle. Every prayer offered, kindness extended, and loving thought make a difference. Prayer heals, doctors help, and God's will shall be done.
