On the Mat
My first draft of this week's blog is a scattered mess of opinion intended to address the recent controversy sparked by Dr. R. Albert Mohler, Jr.'s . My original post was an unfocused, hyperactive jumble of reactions . . . just too many matters to address, too many ideas to explore. When I attempted to find a more specific topic through further research, I encountered Dr. Mohler, Jr.'s recent post about the reactions to his previous essay, which included six things he learned from the controversy. Five of these lessons blatantly shed negative light on both the spiritual integrity and intelligence of yoga-practicing Christians, leading one to wonder what was intended by the remaining observation that "[yoga] is a female dominated field of activity."
