Apparently, my world is not the only world in existence. This is the valuable lesson I learn each time I force my way out of my tight little cocoon of personal worries to gaze at the world outside.

As important as my daily concerns are, and the life problems I face, changing my attitude means breaking away from bad mental habits:

1. My personal challenges are enormous and insurmountable.

2. I know every philosophy worth knowing.

3. My world is a tiny universe in and of itself—separate from anything that lies outside of it.

By forcing myself to think differently, I take the opportunity to grow and learn from new perspectives. I'm solving problems. I find support and motivation when I remember that I am connected to something much bigger than myself. And I learn that by opening my soul to the larger world outside, I open myself up to greater peace and greater possibilities.

Here's How!

For only $20,835 a month, about $694.50 a day (that's less than the cost of a large screen projection TV) you can help a hockey player remain economically viable during his time of need. This contribution by no means solves the problem, as it barely covers the yearly league minimum, ...but it's a start!

Almost $700 may not seem like a lot of money to you, but to a hockey player it could mean the difference between a vacation spent golfing in Florida or a Mediterranean cruise. For you, seven hundred dollars is nothing more than two months rent or mortgage payments. But to a hockey player, $700 will almost replace his daily salary.

Your commitment of less than $700 a day will enable a player to buy that home entertainment center, trade in the year-old Lexus for a new Ferrari, or enjoy a weekend in Rio.
