Daily Prayer
The next time some crazy driver cuts me off in traffic, help me to lay off the horn. The next time my boss requires me to come in on my day off, help me to remember it's money in my pocket and avoid the urge to spit in the coffee. The next time my mother tells me I look tired, help remind me that she gave birth to me. The next time some kid makes a smart-alec comment, help me to avoid smacking the smug grin off their face. As I face people that try my patience and sanity,
Help me to pray for them... even if I'm praying they disappear.
