Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II met Winston Churchill when she was a mere toddler, and the experience clearly left a mark on Churchill, with him referring to the then-Princess as "a character". A 50-year veteran of politics, Churchill was widely regarded as one of the greatest wartime leaders of the 20th century and was a Nobel Peace Prize recipient - so it's only natural that he was to be the first Prime Minister the newly-crowned Queen Elizabeth II and that she would develop a special fondness for him.

Fast forward through her list of 12 British Prime Minister, to #10: Tony Blair, who is the first to have been born during Her Majesty’s reign. In fact, Blair was born the same year as Her Majesty’s coronation!
