Kazibwe, who attended funeral services for the victims here Sunday, said that the death toll could rise since more mass graves could be located near the cult's compound.
Some 400 of the cult's followers died inside a burning church on March 17.
The vice president said the sect's leaders had tried to make it look like a mass suicide, when in reality it was a mass murder committed by "religious maniacs."
Kazibwe said that the whereabouts of the cult's leaders were unknown, but authorities were currently looking for them.
