What would you say is the number one issue that couples will face? How can they get through it?
The number one issue that couples will face is how the lack of understanding each other’s pathology and ability to give and receive love will form a disconnect that will in turn affect all aspects of the relationship until there is awareness, personal accountability and the willingness to heal, grow, and change. Therefore, the way to get through the disconnect and to come closer in love is to do just that; seek awareness, seek understanding with compassion, seek self-growth, ‘take turns’, and work on coming together. When all of this is in place, marriage can actually be a beautiful and amazing experience.
