Make Love a Daily Goal

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.” — 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

This is one of the most well-known verses of the Bible, but is arguably one of the hardest to live by.

As they say, love is more than just a four-letter word. The meaning and action of love in your marriage should be unconditional.

God’s love is infinite, so it surpasses even our human understanding. But as husband and wife, love should be constant and abundant; always in use.

True Love is God

“And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus.There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.” — 1 John 4:16-18

God blessed us with our life partner. He loves us enough to bring the right people into our lives and fill it with happiness and more blessings than imagined.

The Divine Counselor provides real, genuine love. His only hope is that we can exemplify His love in our marriage.
