Prayers to Move on From a Bad Relationship

Moving on from a bad relationship is never easy. No matter how positive you vow to be there are always going to be obstacles to overcome and lessons to learn along the way. Emotionally investing in another person means you’ve shed the protective layers that are usually present and have openly welcomed someone to become part of your life. Removing those emotional ties can be hurtful internally and externally. However, it’s not impossible. It’s okay to be vulnerable through prayer and shed your internal defenses. God will listen to your suffering and provide you with the tools to mend your heart. Once you’re able to put your complete faith in God, you’ll discover that everything becomes easier and resolution will present itself.

When an individual is trying to cope with a broken heart, it may seem like the rest of the world is constantly knocking them back down. In reality, a majority of the struggle is internal and the broken hearted must be willing to sincerely move forward before they’ll be able to really begin the next chapter within their life. Many people do not know how to “give” their pain to God however, communication is the first step and then God will provide further guidance.
