Staying true to your faith, the boundaries and limitations, that go along with that belief, is very important yet challenging. However, when you’re searching for that special someone it’s hard to back down from temptations and develop a common foundation to build a relationship on. But, it’s possible! Be realistic and honest about intentions. Do you want children? Are you career driven? Are you willing or wanting to move away from your current location? Do you want to get married? Put it all out there and be honest about the elements you are willing to compromise and the others that you’re firm on.

It’s imperative that couples know where each partner stands. Time changes things but if you’re starting on the same page then the chances of spending a lifetime together are a lot stronger. Having a general idea of what is expected will also help couples plan for the future that they plan on spending together. Appropriate Physical Expression

Physical touch and intimacy are important elements within a committed relationship. Never engage in physical expression if you’re not in a meaningful committed relationship. Hold onto your values and morals. Never allow someone to compromise who you are and what you believe in. Have an open conversation about boundaries and obtain a mutual understanding of where you, as a couple, stand. Setting limits displays your maturity and respect that you have for your relationship.
