It’s always her way

If she’s unwilling to compromise on anything, then it’s unlikely that she’ll make a good wife. One of the biggest parts of a relationship, especially a marriage, is having the ability to come to a compromise by keeping each side balanced. There will be times when you disagree however, it’s important to be able to identify when things are actually not that important. If you find that your leading lady never budges and is unwilling to see things through a different lens, then unfortunately things are not going to work out. Never allow her stubbornness and control to take over your sense of being. It’s important to stay level headed and not let your judgment get clouded by her efforts to have everything go her way.

She’s still talking about her ex

Be honest, does she still talk about her ex on a consistent basis? It’s not abnormal for her to mention her past relationships from time-to-time. However, if she constantly brings up her ex and reminisces about their time together then it’s definitely a red flag. She may tell you that she’s completely over her ex however, actions speak louder than words. Without appearing overly jealous or crazy, ask her if she’s still in love with her ex and explain to her why you feel like you need to bring up the conversation. If there are deeper issues, her constant mention of his name may be because she hasn’t dealt with the baggage associated with the relationship or she may not even realize that she is still in love with her ex.

She wants to change you

If she wants you to get rid of the old T-shirts you’ve been wearing since your college days, that doesn’t necessarily mean she’s trying to change you. However, if she’s trying to change the way you are as a person then there lays the problem. If a woman is in love with you, she will be willing to take the good with the bad. And vice versa. Sometimes growing up and maturing can be misconstrued and identified as negative, but in reality its part of life. So giving up a few hours of video game play in order to spend quality time with your girlfriend isn’t such a bad thing. However, if she wants you to distance yourself from friends and family then that’s a definite red flag.
