One day, Max and his daughter Sara were out shopping. Sara, who was in second grade, spotted a desk that she absolutely had to have. Max, on the other hand, repeatedly insisted that they were not going home with that desk. Sure enough, after Sara measured the desk with her arms, she said, "Guess what, Daddy. It'll fit in the back of the car!" They took home the desk, but Max's biggest reason wasn't that Sara measured. It was that she called him Daddy. He took so much pride in being a father that she was able to win him over just by reminding him of how lucky he really was.
