Guarding the Home by Using Spiritual Warfare

The family unit has been under attack for decades. The family is the most important foundation for any nation, and the church family is not exempt. While we are fighting culture, people, politics, and immorality, the devil is gaining ground as we go chasing our tails. There is a war, and it is fierce in the heavenliness and on earth. Our homes and families also need to be protected, and we tend to ignore this area. We think we are weak, this is a lie. You are not powerless, but powerful! “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses.” The war is on and we did win!

Protection

Seek the Lord for protection of the house and wherever you tread! Call all angels, and seek the inner power He has given you. It is already there."Hear Lord, as I put on the full armor of God, I know that when the day of evil comes, I will be able to stand my ground, and after I have done everything, I will stand. I will stand firm, with the belt of truth buckled around my waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with my feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, I will take up the shield of faith, with which I can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. I take on the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."
