8 Ways We Nag Our Husbands (and Didn't Even Know It!)

As a female, there isn’t much worse than being considered a nag. No one wants to be one and very rarely is anyone actually trying to be one. However, no marriage is immune to it’s share of adversity. While God beautifully designed the husband and wife to be uniquely different, He made us to perfectly compliment each other, rather than let our differences drive us apart. We are emotionally wired human beings that tend to react to our feelings first and logic later. Due to this, we don’t always do the best job at serious self-reflection. We know the obvious ways that our husbands feel nagged, but here are some ways we might make our husbands feel this way and we didn't realize it.

"Bringing Up the Past"

While it may seem productive to work through past issues, it generally does more harm than good. Rehearsing his past failures and inadequcies is a sign that you might not have forgiven him and moved forward--and he will sense that. If you feel compelled to bring something up, try the 10 Minute Rule. Rather than act totally on impulse next time, try to compose yourself for 10 minutes. Find a quiet, private area and give yourself time to reflect. Magically, you will either get over it or deem it something justifiable to discuss. Consequently, you will have given yourself enough time to simmer down and you can better collect your thoughts and approach the topic in a much better fashion.
