Begin by finding one awesome image of a beautiful couple in a pose that you can relate to. It should be something that represents the love you long for. Find an image so delicious and inspiring that it helps you believe in love. Place it in a frame and let it guide you.

Prepare to create “A Perfect Date Treasure Map.” Gather supplies before you start. You’ll need: large piece of oak tag or poster board; scissors; stick glue; and magazines, artwork, pictures, images, saying, headlines that evoke the kind of love life you want to share. This is your visual interpretation of the ideal mate. It is a light-hearted and fun way to create a “visual prayer.”

It is always powerful to visualize – i.e. see pictures or movies in your head – but it is just as important to get a sense of what makes your perfect date superb. Give some thought to what you would do, where you go, what you wear, how you feel. Think about the kind of person you would most like to spend that time with.
