Operation Beautiful began in 2009 after 26-year old Caitlin Boyle had a particularly difficult day at work. "I wanted to do something small and simple for someone else to make me feel better!" That 'something small' was to simply stick a post-it note with the words "You are beautiful!" on it in a public place where another woman might see it. "We need this positive type of messaging in society, and Operation Beautiful is simple, quick, and effective - both for the note poster and the finder!"

The idea quickly took hold. Since she began the site, Caitlin has received over 7000 notes from women all over the world, including Asia, Europe, and Africa. Here are 13 of her favorite images that celebrate your beauty and who you are.
