Fatigue is a huge factor that people suffering from MS must battle on a daily basis. Unfortunately, fatigue can set in at anytime during the day and can make it difficult for those suffering from MS to complete everyday tasks.
Do not misunderstand their fatigue for laziness. When they become tired they are less coordinated and in many cases immobile - almost reactive like someone sick with the flu. Help to work out strategies to pace through activities during the day. Offer your assistance in building a schedule, to-do lists and other task oriented self-help devices that you can think of. If you assist your loved one with setting up their schedule and tasks, it will make it easier on you to be involved and provide overall aid.
