Recognize that you received a glimpse of your life purpose when you were young, probably between 5 and 15 years of age. “Everyone comes into this world with a fundamental essence that distinguishes them from others around them. It may be an innate skill in art, music, sports, mechanics, math, entertainment, or any one of a host of other possibilities. It is incredibly important to ‘listen’ carefully to know what that skill is. If that skill is not considered by society as an avenue to a ‘successful’ profession – think high salary and prestige – often even close friends and loved ones may persuade us to follow another ‘higher potential’ path.
