Carry On With Life
More often than not, the 'hurt' that we feel has been imposed 'the issue' of the person doing the hurting, (words, gossip, unfair treatment of any kind) and we should try not to 'absorb' this, even though, when directed at us, this can be VERY difficult. In denying these 'issues' in themselves, they often tend to 'forget' the injury. The answer is; See more insight, prayer, meditation and having FIRM INNER-PERSONAL BOUNDRIES. (Not fighting it - as I have tried to do myself, often). I have absorbed a mountain of 'hurt' during my lifetime which DID lead to depression, isolation and genuine sadness. Just tell yourself if you can, that they have THEIR issues to settle within themselves and carry on with your own life, friends, job & GOD as best you can.
