This fire took everything away from this family; from a veteran’s Purple Heart to all of their clothes. One thing that survived, however, was their Jesus statue in their rose garden. It gave the family hope after the fire, and a year later it now stands in front of their new home, still dirty with ashes. They now believe that out of ashes, good things can rise again.
