"I love it because it not only totally allows me to be myself, but actually HELPS me to be myself..."

"I love Scientology because it allows me to handle specific areas of my life that I am not happy with. Also, I love going to church and seeing people discover Scientology for the first time! Most people are so excited to find that Scientology can immediately help them in their lives! It is great seeing people rise up above all the troubles they have been stuck in. " --Delphian1

"Scientology addresses the spirit. ...Scientology includes processes which are used to help people become more themselves - the immortal spiritual beings that we are. During this process, we shed those things which we have been holding onto - past hurts and things we did that we wish we hadn't done.

These processes are called auditing - which comes from the Latin word audire and means "to listen."

The end result of auditing is relief! And feeling freer as a person, and more able and less "holding back."

I like auditing because the auditor NEVER evaluates, never invalidates, never tells me what to think or feel or decide. It's all coming from ME! It is very validating, as a being, to be treated with this kind of respect.

I like that my religion encourages tolerance for the religious beliefs of others, and that the members of my religion often belong to other religions as well. Jews, Baptists, Catholics, Pagans, Hindus, Shintos, Buddhists, Muslims, etc., all getting along! That gives me hope for the entire planet. Imagine a world without religious intolerance and warfare!

Many members of my religion work hard to bring about a better world, through programs like Criminon, Narconon, Applied Scholastics, the World Literacy Crusade, etc.

Those are the things I like best about my religion!"

"Every single challenge, personal and/or professional, that I have overcome in the last decade has been overcome through my application of Scientology principles. ...My life is really what I want it to be - and I am a happily married man, a happy and proud father, a successful professional, etc etc - I get what I want out of life. Scientology is simply a wonderful skill set for handling life.

...Through volunteer work with my Scientology Church, I have brought comfort and relief to earthquake victims, participated in literacy programs and criminal rehabilitation programs, and have helped reduce violence in my community's schools.

While much negativity has been thrown at us in the media by special interest groups and by greedy individuals in search for an easy target, the fact is that life as a Scientologist is a tremendously rewarding human experience, and there are nothing sinister or mysterious about Scientology." --TruthNotRumor

"I love being a scientologist because it is a means of increasing your spiritual awareness. Scientology helps the individual become more himself than he ever was. ...you learn what life really is and make life what you want it to be! You learn that the possibilities are endless and you are more capable than you or anyone else ever let you see before."

"From being a shy, introverted, withdrawn character prior to Scientology, I am now happy, focused and more aware and perceptive as a being. ...As a result of Scientology I find that the physical universe will always align itself with my decisions. Through Scientology studies, drills and exercises, I have developed an increasing spiritual awareness and ability. I now have the power to create and to control my life as I choose. And I have a doorway through which I can not only explore my spiritual history but through which I can face eternity head on with certainty and understanding." --scientia8

"Scientology helps me survive better in life... I learn the tools of resolving all sorts of situations on my scientology courses, not just for myself, but for the people around me as well." --Sanya

"I love being a Scientologist because...

1. The tech is SO interesting!

2. There's always a way to handle a problem, whether it's how to organize my desk or how to resolve a conflict.

3. I know there are people who trust me and care for me, even if I've never met them. I could walk into any org anywhere on the planet any time and be assured of a warm welcome." --memyself
