Philippians 4:12-13

"I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength."

Most of us only focus on last verse in this passage, but looking at verse 12, it reminds us why we have to keep going, holding on to God’s unchanging hand as we move through the turbulence.

We have been through the ups and downs. And we will continue to experience them as we go through life.

It’s knowing that we find strength in our Maker, the Most High, that should leave us smiling, content, regardless of what comes our way.
