Kim and Krickitt Carpenter: Love Takes Faith

This amazing couple taught us the meaning of the words, “till death do us part.” After they were married in 1993, a car accident left Krickitt’s brain severely damaged wiping out 18 months of the entire time she met, courted and eventually married her husband. Although they had to relearn and begin again, Krickitt’s faith remained firm and divorce was never an option. Their story was eventually turned into a movie, The Vow, but despite all of the fanfare they say their faith in Christ and the promise they made to one another was the true glue that kept them together. Their story of love and faith, continues to inspire couples to practice committed love and endure any hardship.

Danielle Gletlow: The Birth of One Simple Wish

After becoming an adopted parent herself, Danielle quickly became aware of the rising challenges faced by the thousands of children in the American foster care system. Believing she could have an impact, she launched the non-profit, One Simple Wish, to help alleviate some of the burdens that foster children and families are up against. The organization connects foster children with potential donors who grant their wishes online. Wishes range from scuba-diving lessons, to ipods and even tickets to college football games. Gletlow’s one act of faith, has led to more than 2800 wishes of foster children across America coming true.

Christopher Gardner: Homeless Man Turned Millionaire

Gardner’s faith to see what he could become despite where he was, helped launch him into success. Gardner was living as a single-parent in severe homeless conditions while pursuing a stock broker apprenticeship. He was fascinated by the world of finance, but had no way of breaking into the trade other than working for a meager training salary while he learned. During that time both he and his son lived and slept in a busy B.A.R.T. station. Gardner eventually advanced in understanding money markets and learned all he could about stock exchange. He now owns his own brokerage firm, Gardner Rich & Co. and shares his rags to riches story inspiring others around the world.
