The Lord tells us, “‘No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me,’ declares the Lord” (Isaiah 54:17). From this passage, you learn that God is on your side. No weapon will prosper against you. You will walk through water and fire, yet you will not be consumed (Isaiah 43:2).

1. God is For You

Paul tells us, “What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31). Humans might pose many weapons and problems for you, but their purposes will not prevail. If God is for you, who can be against you? God is stronger, mightier, and more powerful than anything or anyone else. Take solace in knowing He is on your side.

Allow this truth to equip you with confidence. Step out in the knowledge that God is with you. He will walk beside you through every hill and valley (Psalm 23:1-6). When you begin to doubt Him, bring your heart back to the truth of the Bible. Cover yourself in prayer and present your concerns to the Lord (Philippians 4:6-7).

2. God Will Protect You

The Word of God says, “You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you” (Psalm 91:5-7).

God will protect you from all things. Although humanity and the devil might try to place many hurdles in your way, you will overcome each of them. God is your strength and your shield (Psalm 28:7). He will protect you when the day of evil comes. Continue to put on your armor of God and take your stand against the evil one (Ephesians 6:10-18).

3. No Purpose of God’s Can Be Thwarted

From the Book of Job, we learn that the plans of God cannot be disrupted. Job 42:2 says, “I know that you can do all things; no purpose of yours can be thwarted.” No weapon formed against you will stand. God will bring all wickedness to an end.

Trust Him with your present life and future. God has great plans in store for you (Jeremiah 29:11). Challenging times will continue to emerge in your life, but you can rely on the strength of God. He will help you overcome any trouble or spiritual attack.

4. God Will Never Leave You, Nor Abandon You

Fear causes you to doubt God. Have you been afraid lately? Release these feelings to God. He will help you carry them and replace your feelings of fear with confidence. God will always be with you, cheering you on, and surrounding you with His love.

Hebrews 13:5 says, “Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, ‘Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.’” Keep this promise close to your heart. It is a reminder of God’s ever-present love, protection, and kindness.

5. God Goes Before You

No weapon will prevail against you because God goes before you. Through every ocean, desert, or great unknown, God walks ahead of you. Deuteronomy 31:8 says, “The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

Take heart in knowing that God will carve out the steps before you. He will never let you walk down a road by yourself. While you will still come across troubling times, God will go before you. He will illuminate your path and bring hope into your heart.

6. God Loves You

Paul tells us, “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). The love God has for us is a constant reminder that He will protect us from every evil attack. God’s love is constantly surrounding us, molding us, and enriching our lives. In what ways have you seen God’s love in your life?

When weapons are being forged in front of your eyes, remind yourself of God's love. God will always love you. This will never change. His love is unconditional, meaning that it will not alter based on what you do or what you do not do. His love is steadfast and secure.

7. The Battle is the Lord’s

The Bible tells us, “All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give all of you into our hands” (1 Samuel 17:47). At the end of the day, you must remember that God is your mighty Creator, Savior, and Redeemer. No one will ever be able to overpower Him.

Weapons and attacks can be scary, but God can extinguish them with the breath of His might. Turn away from fear and turn toward trust. God will defeat the wicked and you will watch their downfall. Find hope, encouragement, and peace in the Lord. The victory belongs to Him.

No weapon against you will prevail. This is because God is with you, He protects you, His purposes cannot be thwarted, He will never leave you nor abandon you, He goes before you, He loves you, and the battle belongs to Him. Praise God for His power, might, and love!
