“God believes money is pure evil.”

For whatever reason, people have decided that money is pure evil and that having a desire to want any wealth goes directly against God’s wishes. But here’s the deal. While Jesus talked about money often, it’s important to note that He never said that it was bad. In fact, scripture promises for financial blessings numerous times for Christians. Jesus never had a problem with money, but rather people’s desire for money over everything else. In the end, it’s OK to have money and to want it as long as it doesn’t make us lose sight of what’s really important. We have to keep our focus on God, and make money a lesser priority.
