Not All Evangelicals are . . .
Mean, Stupid, and Dogmatic
Despite some of the caricatures, studies show that evangelicals are more likely to volunteer their time, give to charity, are more optimistic about life, have better relations with their children and send them to college more often than non-Christians. As a whole, they don’t seem to be mean, stupid, and dogmatic.
So how did we get this rap?
Well, sometimes we are this way, and even justify orneriness, doctrinal rigidity, and sanctified stupidity in the name of Jesus. If you have been around evangelical circles for a while, you know what we mean. Why does it happen and how do we fix it?
