When the ABC sitcom, Happy Days, began, Arthur Fonzarelli or "The Fonz," (Henry Winkler), was a motorcycle riding, school drop out. In the series 4th season, it was revealed that Fonzie started attending night school and graduated with his friends. During his graduation speech, he announced that "school was cool." By season 8, Fonzie had become a shop teacher at Jefferson High School and had to adjust to being seen as an authority figure. In the show's final season (11), The Fonz gets into hot water for striking a student who was bullying another student, but of course, he was the Fonz, so it all got worked out in the end.
