In 2025, two-time NBA All-Star Tyrese Haliburton led the Indiana Pacers to their first NBA finals since 2000. He also participated in the 2024 Summer Olympics, where the U.S. team won gold.

But his Christian faith is more important. "My faith has grown a lot over the last year or two," he says. "Growing up, we didn't go to church a lot, but we understood God's place in our lives." As an adult, Haliburton's relationship with Jesus Christ has become his foundation. He credits it with giving him peace, stability and perspective and says regular Bible reading and pregame chapel remind him that his value comes from God rather than basketball.
