He’s the pastor of the first ever Hillsong Church in United States with a nearly six thousand member congregation. Tattoos, skinny jeans, a biker vest and wing-tip boots are among his Sunday best and the church’s pulpit is lit with neon lights that say “Always. Only. Jesus.” Lentz is popular for his non-traditional approach to Christianity and gravitational pull with celebrities such as: Justin Bieber, Kevin Durant and JayZ. The nightclub megachurch pastor takes a strong stance on love, grace and authentic relationship with Jesus Christ. In an interview with Relevant magazine Lentz said, “God has called us to talk to people, so whether you are a nobody or a somebody in this world’s eyes, you should have a right to have love and to be pastored.”
