Despite being one of the 10 percent in population, you are among the famous, and the unique. Researchers found in the 100,000 people they’ve studied had genes that determined what hand we use.Science Daily reported that the genetic study identified the biological process that influences us and handedness and “a network of genes involved in establishing left-right asymmetry in developing embryos.” The University of Oxford conducted the study to report that “The genes are involved in the biological process through which an early embryo moves on from being a round ball of cells and becomes a growing organism with an established left and right side.” Lefties, you’re in good company. There are a good amount of presidents, celebrities, writers and scientists who favor their left. Matthew Broderick, Carol Burnett, Barack Obama, Julia Roberts, Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, Benjamin Franklin, Kermit, and Bill Clinton are all lefties.
