Dennis Quaid

Father of three, beloved actor Dennis Quaid and his wife Kimberly almost lost their newborn twins Thomas and Zoe in 2007 when blood thinner was accidently administered to them in the hospital. Motivated to prevent future harm to babies, the Quaids pressed charges against the drug company (the packaging of the blood thinner was markedly similar to that of another drug). In addition, Quaid works with the International Hospital for Children in New Orleans, builds medical clinics in Central America, and helps to transport sick children to the U.S. for treatment. He also enjoys spending time with his eldest child, Jack, from a previous marriage to actress Meg Ryan.
