The Archdiocese of Baltimore is fielding a basketball team called "The Men in Black" made up of a dozen seminarians. It's an attempt to "promote priesthood in as positive a way as we can," Rev. James Barker, director of vocations for the archdiocese, told the Baltimore Sun. The team uses a fight song written by Sister Mary Luffy, which ends, "Pray, Men in Black, just pray you won't be black and blue tonight."

The team challenges various parish and high school teams, but turns down some offers, according to priest-in-training Christopher Welsh. "Sometimes it's just eighth-grade altar boys, and that's going to get bloody." The team has lost only one game, but thus far, no player has been tempted by a contract from the NBA.
