Little ***** ate half the leaves off my cucumber plants before I caught him…

(FYI, we don’t live close to water, either – the river is about a mile away, I’d say)

Ah, of course…two out of three commentors say groundhog. I feel sort of stupid. Of course. Not that I’ve seen one in my yard before. But that makes more sense than a water creature.
