Greg Willits of the podcast Rosary Army writes with some news:

I know you’ve mentioned Fr. Roderick’s podcast on your website before, and I just wanted to let you know that Father Roderick coming to Atlanta next week and will be our guest during the Eucharistic Congress next Saturday here in Atlanta.

By some miracle, the Eucharistic Congress is becoming a big opportunity for spreading the word about Catholic podcasting.

First off, Fr. Roderick is flying over from the Netherlands and will be at the Rosary Army booth with us for most of the day. Also, Javier Plumey from the Hands and Feet Podcast will be there, as will Greg Keuter from The Divine Mercy Podcast. And lastly, just a few minutes ago I got an email from Paul Camarata from the SaintCast, and he’s going to fly in for the event as well.

To top it all off, I’ve been working with the Archdiocese’s communications office and they’ll be bringing the day’s speakers down to our booth so we can interview them for a podcast for the Archdiocese. This will be their first foray into podcasting.

So prayers would be appreciated. Would you be willing to let people know on your website that Fr. Roderick will be in Atlanta for about a week and that, in addition to the Eucharistic Congress we’re going to try to arrange some sort of event so folks can come out and meet Fr. Roderick and perhaps he’ll give a talk about Catholic media? Anything you can do to help spread the word would be appreciated.

Excellent – the Atlanta Eucharistic Congress has been big stuff for the past couple of years at least – thousands of folks gathered, an enormous Hispanic presence – the Catholic Church in Atlanta, out in full, loving strength.

Here’s the website for this year’s Congress
