At Villanove – a Catholic university – there is a controversy over a statue in memory of victims of abortion.

What is portrayed in the statue? A bloody fetus? Body parts? Er…no.

Actually, it’s important to note (if the article is accurate) that the administration isn’t opposing the statue at all. It will be voted on by the board of trustees today, and, the article indicates, it is expected to be approved.

But do note some of the dissenting voices in the article:

"I don’t think the university should impose the values of a certain group of people. That’s such a slap in the face."
