I know that my postings have not been very substantive of late. For that, I apologize.  But a few things have been occupying me – I got yet another idea (don’t laugh) for a novel, this time a Young Adult novel that I actually feel compelled to write, that I think I can pull of in about a month, and I need to fan that flame while I can. I have some picky little jobs to do here and there, including going over the copy-editing changes of De-Coding Mary Magdalene. Plus, I have been obsessing over some vague plans for something in the near future that have finally become solidified this week, about which I will talk at some point in the future…let’s just say I’ve been online a lot, but in terms of this old blog, it’s nothin’.

Plus, I’ve been getting quite a bit of interesting insights and observations from Michael down in Birmingham on various Catholic entities in that area, none of which are really bloggable without some processing, unfortunately. Which is always frustrating.

I DO have a ton of books to blog on, so perhaps that’s a way to get my head back here..plus that Atlantic Monthly piece on Benedict by Paul Elie. Perhaps I’ll try to get to that this afternoon!
