Every time these church-closing people open their mouths, they sound more and more adrift:

As quoted at Rich Leonardi’s blog:

‘Count us in on the groups of churches who believe time with families is better spent on Christmas Day,’ said Vickie Neff, the church’s director of communications.

Why? Because of the "cast of thousands" it takes to put on a worship service at this place (which presumably includes not just choir members, etc., but also nursery workers, coffeeshop workers)

Priest + liturgical books = liturgy.

I swear, it all just makes me want to go to Mass at the simplest, humblest non-staffed Catholic church I can find on Christmas morning, shoulder-to-shoulder with non-nurseried kids, without even a cantor (because who needs to be led in singing Christmas songs?)  and THANK GOD.
