Today, nearly 700 bloggers are taking up the charge and raising funds for relief, coordinated by N.Z. Bear . My charity of choice is Catholic Charities, but there’s not a one on the list that’s not worthy. We’ll also be packing up some good used clothes and making a trip to Target to buy some packages of kids’ underwear and such to send to the St. Vincent de Paul Society in Baton Rouge. Reader (and now FW resident!) Yvonne said she spoke to them yesterday by phone and they are in need:
