We’ve all been there.  You are sitting at work and that one guy (or gal) walks in and sucks the life right out of the room.  When a person like that comes walking down the hall, you quickly duck into a room to avoid them.  Negative, maybe rude, always selfish.

The bigger question is: are you and I like that?  How do people see us?

I want people to be inspired when I walk into a room.  I have a long way to go, but a starting point is for us to recognize what we want ourselves to be.

I think Jesus was this kind of leader.  Think about it.  He just walked up to some guys and said, “Follow me.”  They dropped everything and immediately followed him.  That’s crazy!  I doubt he had a lot of “bad days” which seems so prevalent in our modern culture.

How do you want other people to view you?  John Maxwell says, “Leadership is influence.”  What kind of influence are you?  Today, let’s be people who inspire others to be their bests.  I thinks that’s what Jesus would do.
