Model and former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo has officially stepped into her new role as a mom! On Sunday, July 13, she and her husband, NFL star Christian McCaffrey, announced the arrival of their first child, a daughter named Colette Annalise McCaffrey.
The couple shared the joyful news on Instagram with a series of sweet black-and-white photos from the hospital. One image shows Olivia holding baby Colette while Christian stands close by, offering support and love. In a heartfelt caption, Culpo described the experience as “the scariest and most rewarding of all experiences.”
She also shared a photo of herself during labor, saying, “As soon as he came into the room I felt most at peace. Look at the grip.” The moment captured the strength of their bond and the deep love they already have for their baby girl.

Another touching photo shows Christian looking down at newborn Colette as she rests peacefully. Olivia added, “Colette is so lucky to have the best daddy in the world. A love like no other.”
Just hours after announcing the joyful news, fans flooded the couple with love and heartfelt congratulations.
“I thought she was gonna be a girl! Goodness, she is precious. Love the name. These pics are the sweetest. Love that mama brought back her classic snatched pony for delivery. Prayers for a quick recovery and lots of loved up time together with your sweet girl! Congrats y’all,” one fan wrote.

Culpo, 33, and McCaffrey, 29, first shared the news of their pregnancy back in March. “Next chapter, motherhood,” Olivia wrote at the time, along with beautiful maternity photos. Though they didn’t know the baby’s gender then, both were thrilled about the journey ahead.
“I’m so excited and grateful to be pregnant. I’ve been dreaming of this for a long time,” Olivia said in an interview with PEOPLE. “It’s very special.”
As for Christian, the San Francisco 49ers running back seemed just as ready to embrace fatherhood. Olivia called him “made to be a dad” and said, “He’s so excited. I think he’s gonna really enjoy it and be just the best.”
The journey to motherhood has also deepened Olivia’s appreciation for her own mom. “One thing that I realized through this experience of becoming a mom is actually how much I’ve needed my mom, which I didn’t anticipate,” she said. “She’s just been so helpful to me, especially in the beginning of my pregnancy.”
She added, “It’s just an ironic thought that you need your mom the most when you’re about to become a mom. That’s just genuinely how I felt.”
As Olivia and Christian begin this new chapter with baby Colette, their story is a beautiful reminder of the love, support, and faith it takes to bring new life into the world — and the incredible blessing that parenthood truly is.
