Model and influencer Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey are preparing to grow their family once again.
The couple announced that they are expecting their second child together, sharing the joyful news on Instagram on May 8 — which also happened to be Culpo’s 34th birthday.
“Best birthday gift ❤️ Baby #2 coming soon ?,” the couple wrote in a joint post that featured sweet family photos from a picnic outing with their 9-month-old daughter, Colette, and their dog, Oliver. One image showed a strip of sonogram photos resting on the picnic blanket as the family smiled together.

The announcement comes just nine months after Culpo and McCaffrey welcomed their first child. The couple first shared news of Colette’s birth in July 2025 with black-and-white hospital photos taken moments after she arrived.
Soon after giving birth, Culpo reflected on the emotional experience of becoming a mother, calling childbirth “the scariest and most rewarding of all experiences.”
Since stepping into motherhood, Culpo has also been candid about the challenges and fears that can come with balancing family life and a career. During an appearance on The Squeeze podcast last fall, she admitted that becoming a mother changed her perspective in a major way.
“There’s totally a shift,” Culpo said. “Whether or not you want there to be or not, you have somebody that’s physically dependent on you. So I’m not going to sugarcoat it. Yeah, it’s scary.”
Still, Culpo said she has found strength and support through her marriage to McCaffrey, who currently plays for the San Francisco 49ers.
“I’m so grateful that I have my husband because while I’m totally working and I’m doing everything in my power to keep working and I’m so happy to have the opportunities that I have,” she explained.
She also spoke openly about how motherhood has reshaped her priorities.
“Let’s say they all went away — would I have the same ability 10, 12, 15, 20 years ago to light that fire up my butt when I have somebody who really needs me, which is my baby? No,” Culpo said.
“And I would choose my baby 10 times over, obviously,” she added.
The couple first revealed they were expecting their first child in March 2025. At the time, Culpo shared black-and-white maternity photos and wrote, “Next chapter, motherhood ?.”
