Actress Candace Cameron Bure has spent a career focusing on family roles. From devoted daughter, DJ, of “Full House,” to DJ as a mother in the “Fuller House” follow-up series, and multiple family roles through her work on Hallmark and Great American Family, Bure has been a family icon. Now she’s celebrating the expansion of her own family as she prepares to be a first-time grandmother. Bure’s daughter, Natasha Bure Perry, made the announcement on May 7 that she and husband, Bradley Steven Perry, were expecting their first child. In the post, the pair are seen in matching striped shirts, holding mugs with the respective “Mama” and “Dada” etched into them. The pair called it their “dream role.” Perry is known for his role on the Disney Channel sitcom “Good luck, Charlie.” The couple married in September 2025.

Cameron Bure celebrated the announcement, sharing the post and writing, “I’m gonna be a Candy Gram!!!!!!” Natasha responded, calling Cameron Bure the “Best Candy Gram ever!!!!” Cameron Bure went on to gush about her expanding family to Today.com. “This is just the sweetest season. I’ve dreamed and prayed about being a grandma, and now it’s actually happening. Watching Natasha become a mom has been so beautiful, and I can truly see God’s hand in every part of her journey into motherhood,” she said. She also offered strong praise of her son-in-law, saying, “Bradley is the most caring husband and is going to be an amazing, loving father.” Cameron Bure has been facing a lot of new seasons as she and husband Val Bure have become empty nesters and watched two of their three children get married. Now, she has time to think about what having a grand baby looks like. “I already find myself thinking about all the traditions and memories we’ll get to create and thanking the Lord for this gift,” she said. “Candy Gram is ready and waiting!”

Both Perry and Bure Perry were already making plans for their future family soon after their wedding. “What matters most to me is that every single day I spend with her, I see the future mother of my children. She’s so sweet and protective of everyone around her, and I know she’s going to be the most incredible mom,” Perry said of his new bride at the time of their wedding. Bure Perry was also excited by the prospect of their future family. “I personally can’t wait to have little Bradleys running around … Starting a life together is going to be the most incredible journey that I can’t wait to embark on. He’s just my person.”
