Love has a way of circling back when the time is right — and for “Law & Order” star Angie Harmon, that journey has led her back to a man she first met three decades ago.

The actress surprised fans on Valentine’s Day by sharing that she has rekindled her romance with model Tony Floyd, a man she first encountered as a teenager in Italy. In a heartfelt joint Instagram post, the couple reflected on their decades-long connection — a story marked by missed timing, separate lives, and a reunion neither expected.

Floyd described their first meeting with vivid nostalgia: “We met in Italy at eighteen – two kids scrambling for work, chasing modeling dreams, trying to build a life without starving along the way,” he wrote. “There was a spark between us even then… but the timing wasn’t right.”

The pair later crossed paths again in Los Angeles in their twenties while both pursued acting careers. Their relationship deepened during that time, and Floyd remembered those years with affection. “You were always better than me. But we were together. And we were in love,” he shared.

Still, life pulled them in different directions. Harmon’s career took off onscreen, while Floyd discovered his passion in a completely different field. “You found your passion on the screen,” he wrote. “I found mine shaping surfboards in Costa Mesa. Still, the timing wasn’t ours.”

After nearly three decades apart, their paths unexpectedly converged again — something Floyd sees as more than coincidence. “And then, after twenty-seven years, our paths crossed again – by chance, or maybe by fate,” he said.

Now, he believes the long-delayed timing has finally aligned. “Now the timing is right. Now is our time, my love. My strength. My everything. My Angie,” Floyd wrote. “I love you beyond anything words can hold. You are still the same kind, loving, breathtaking, passionate fighter I met thirty-five years ago on that subway platform in Italy. Only now, we know who we are. And we know what we have. Let’s roll, my Valentine.”

Harmon’s new chapter comes years after her divorce from former NFL star Jason Sehorn. The couple, who married in 2001 after Sehorn famously proposed on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, were together for 13 years. Their split was reportedly influenced by the challenges of maintaining a marriage amid demanding careers and long periods apart.

“A large part of it is when you spend five or six months a year away from your spouse, it gets really tough,” a source told Us Weekly at the time. “In the beginning, they really missed each other, but then they got into a groove where one person took over the main responsibilities of parenting while the other was working.”

Today, Harmon appears to have found a relationship shaped by shared history and renewed perspective — something many fans find deeply relatable. Their story is a reminder that love doesn’t always follow a straight timeline. Sometimes it pauses, grows quietly in the background, and returns when both people are ready.

For Harmon and Floyd, what began as a spark between two hopeful teenagers has come full circle decades later — proof that some connections truly stand the test of time.
