While Packers quarterback Jordan Love, 27, has to prepare for the Wild Card match against division rivals the Chicago Bears, he has something even more exciting to prepare for: fatherhood. Love and his wife, Ronika Stone, announced they were expecting their first child via Instagram on January 1st with the caption, “New year, new addition.” The announcement featured the couple holding up the ultrasound images of their little one, with Stone showing off her growing belly. Another picture featured an outfit with the words, “Baby Love Spring 2026.”

Love and Stone tied the knot June 2025. While Love is known for taking the head quarterback position after Aaron Rodgers’s departure for the 2023 season, Stone is an athlete in her own right in professional volleyball, playing for the San Diego Mojo. The couple teased their relationship on social media in September 2020, with Love making the relationship Instagram official in May 2021 after attending a wedding with Stone. Love proposed in June 2024 and the pair married in Dana Point, CA the next year. Stone shared images of her and Love’s wedding via Instagram, with images of the couple sharing their nuptials on the beach.

Love had an impressive 2025 season, ranking as the #3 quarterback under the Patriots’s Drake Maye and the 49ers’s Brock Purdy. He threw for a total of 3,381 yards, threw in 23 touchdowns, and had 6 interceptions. He had a bit of hiccup towards the end of the season after suffering a concussion during the team’s most recent appearance against the Bears. Love left the first half of the game and failed the team’s concussion protocol despite saying he felt symptom free. While he did pass the protocol in time for week 18 against the Minnesota Vikings, Love sat the game out in order to be well-rested for the playoffs.

Although the original post did not reveal the anticipated baby’s gender, Love shared it via her Instagram stories soon after. “I know I can’t get back to everyone, but thank you x100000000,” she wrote, thanking her followers for the excitement that had followed her announcement. “We’re so excited for baby girl to arrive.”
