We have a snow day off today. How am I spending it? Doing a good deed: teaching my oldest son how to play Diplomacy.
I played it a lot in boarding school, and totally loved it, but haven’t been able to find anybody interested in it since then (and I’ve got no interest in playing by e-mail). Matthew’s old enough now to understand Diplomacy, and because my skills are quite rusty, we should be able to have a decent game today, at least on the level of a learner. A two-person game is far from idea (the more players the better), but it’s a great way to learn the game.
Any board gamers in this crowd? Any Diplomacy fans?
