OK, this is old news but it’s the first I heard of it so I thought I’d post it for anyone else who missed this story the first time around.I was thinking that the best way around this would be to get a Tracphone but if the FBI were monitoring the calls received by your associates, then your Tracphone number would be available. You’d have to constantly get a new phone. I’d say try to avoid becoming a target by staying out of the Mafia or terrorist organization but I don’t trust that one day we might all be targets. It also makes you think that if the FBI has this capability, who else does? Can your business competition use your cell phone to monitor your planning sessions? Who needs a bug when you can use your competitions cell phone against them?(via)
