I’m having technical difficulties today with the blog! So, who knows if you’ll get to read this or not. I would be very upset if my one post of the day is on the number one iPhone app!
I hope you’re enjoying your Christmas celebration! I’ve been up since 4:00 preparing for guests, I hope I’m not exhausted by the time they get here 🙂 My kids and husband are still asleep, that’s the beauty of teenagers, you can get a lot done Christmas morning before they get up. I cleaned dishes, prepared a buckle, wrapped presents, marinated the meat for dinner and blogged all before they even get up. (Darn! My youngest just got up — I’m going to have to make this a quick post).
I pray that the Lord will remind you throughout the day the reason why we are celebrating. Christ came to reconcile us to God.

ESV Luke 2:14 “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!”

He became one with us in the flesh, to take away the punishment for our sins so that we may be reconciled to God. Today is the day we celebrate the birth of our Savior and the peace that can only come from God.
I pray that you remember that peace throughout the day, especially if the dinner conversation turns to politics 🙂
Update: And of course the one time it gets through is when I used “our” instead of “or!”
