You can pick one up for $89,000 on ebay and if you need more than one, they have five of them for sell. Seattle decided to dump them because they attracted drug users and prostitutes (I’m surprised they didn’t see that happening before they purchased them). So far there are no takers.
What a waste of the tax payers’ money! They only had them since 2004 and now they are being removed and sold at a greatly reduced price. And what’s worse is that people are actually using them. What are they supposed to do instead? A self-cleaning toilet is much nicer than many toilets found in major cities (I hate the bathrooms in Penn Station and will only go if I’m desperate).

But here’s the big question, if they are attracting illegal activity, why don’t the police just arrest the drug users and prostitutes.? Doesn’t that make their job easier? Want to catch someone breaking the law, hang out at the public toilets and wait for the lawbreakers to show up.
