This keeps coming up in the comments section of posts. People think I should be posting about McCain and defending him instead of just attacking Obama. They think I’m attacking Obama because I think it will somehow help McCain. Let me make myself abundantly clear and maybe this time it will sink in: McCain is not my candidate. I may or may not vote for him in the fall, I haven’t decided. Though I have a lesser of two evils policy when I vote, I’m beginning to think that the lesser of the two evils is for Democrats to tank the economy and destroy our freedoms and not a Republican. I still think that McCain is infinitely better than Obama but that’s not saying much and it’s certainly not good enough for the job.

So, I have no interest in blogging about McCain. None. Even when he says something stupid, I’m not interested. I may occasionally post something about him but usually it’s just perfunctory because I know it’s expected. My heart really isn’t in it.
I blog about Obama because I’m interested in his candidacy. He is a fascinating character. So arrogant and full of himself, and yet so loved. He’s the bright, shining hope that’s going to bring us change in the form of socialism. He really is a study in contradictions. He’s naked and when you point it out, everyone ridicules you. How can you walk away from something like that? It’s way too much fun 🙂
