It looks like Obama is leading big in NC (according to the exit polls). Hillary’s leading in actual votes in Indiana.
According to exit poll data less than half of Hillary supporters in NC would not say they would vote for Obama in the general and 40% of Hillary supporters in IN said they would vote for McCain in the general.

Now, it’s a given that many of those will probably suck it up and vote for the Democrat because they’ll be convinced that McCain is four more years of Bush even though no one but lefties buy that. But that’s an awfully high number to woe back to the base but then again McCain probably has an even higher number of the Republican base that he has to woe back so maybe it will even out in the end 🙂
